Dalsi let trval 8 a pul hodiny.
Trvalo to kvuli neuveritelnym dopravnim zacpam neco pres hodinu.
Dnes nas ceka stehovani do 5*hotelu, predstaveni tradicniho tance.
So we are in Jakarta. Journey was very long and exhausting, we didnt get much sleep, but we saw many episodes of Friends and Big Bang Theory. We flew 6 hours to Dubai, there we were waiting 4 hours for the connected flight which took 8 and half hours. In Dubai we were in a irish pub where we met Alex, Austrian guy who was just coming back from Indonesia and gave us some usefull tips.
In Jakarta we had to wait for our VISA confirmation and our luggages. They were checked if we dont have any drugs with us. It took us a while until we found the Darmasiswa people. As a welcome gift we recieved 500.000 IDR (around 50USD). Than we were transported to a hotel, which was not exactly a hotel after all, in private cars. The traffic (indonesian macheta) was increadable. It took us about an hour to get to the place and avarage speed was not higher than 40km/hour on a 12 lines round.
It was already dark, but we saw so many shiny skyscrapers, shopping centers (KFC, Pizza hut, Zara, Marks and Spencer...well thats globalization) and brand new Toyotas nad other cars.
The car brought us to an areal which is full of museums. You can find here replicas of typical Indonesian houses from different places in Indonesia. There was also our hotel, more like buildings with rooms and double beds for 10 and more people. I was so lucky that I got a room where was AC and no shower just mandi. Honza had a room without AC but with a shower (dont expect a warm water). There was so many moskitos, little quite cute lizards on the ceiling and I saw one cockroacr
This morning I prefered to wash my hair in the main building by the toilettes. In this building we also had a dinner yesterday. I had a vegetable rice, Honza chicken ( it was the same rice with a little piece of chicken on the side) and a beer. It was very good and costed something around 4EUR per person.
Today they should be moving us to a 5* hotel, we should see a performance of traditional dance. Honza and me are going for an indonesian SIM card and internet hunt:) The sun is shining now, inside the AC is working quite well, outside it feels like being in a Green house. Im goind for a breakfast now, maybe some rice?
